You mould the GLADTS mouthguard to your own teeth with hot water. It only takes a few minutes. Take your time and always check the temperature first, so you don't burn yourself. Children should do this together with an adult.

Junior or Senior?
- Junior: for children with milk teeth
- Senior: for adults and children without milk teeth
The mouthguard comes in nine colours (clear, blue, yellow, green, purple, red, pink, white and black) and in a resealable storage case. Not sure about the size? Ask us before you fit it: info@gladts.nl.
What you need
- A pan of water that you bring to the boil
- A bowl of cold water
- A fork or something similar
Fitting your mouthguard in six steps
- Bring water to the boil and take it off the heat.
- Put the mouthguard in the hot water for about 30 seconds until it softens.
- Take it out with a fork or similar and dip it in cold water for about 1 second. Always check the temperature first.
- Place it over your upper teeth, bite firmly without biting through, and press it against your teeth and gums with your fingers and lips.
- Put it back in the hot water for about 2 seconds, let it cool briefly and place it in your mouth again. Press your tongue against the inside and gently shape any places that do not fit yet.
- When it fits well, rinse it under cold running water to set the shape. If the fit is not right, you can repeat the steps.
Tip: with a smaller jaw, especially for young users, the back can be too long. You can carefully trim a small piece off the back.
Looking after your mouthguard
Rinse the mouthguard with cold or lukewarm water after use, let it dry and store it in the case. Check it regularly for damage, tears or heavy wear and replace it if it is damaged.
Please note: for sports protection only. Do not use it as a night guard against teeth grinding or for prolonged chewing.
The starter sets include a black mouthguard with storage case, in Junior or Senior. More basics for beginners: Kickboxing for beginners: what gear do you need?
